  1. Q. What will my detox be like?
    A. Harmony Foundation is one of only 8 facilities in the state of Colorado licensed for medical detoxification; whether the substance is alcohol, benzos, opiates, or all 3!  Oral medications to ensure your comfort and safety will be administered under the supervision of our medical director, Dr. Sean Murphy, who is a licensed Addictionologist.
  2. Q. What is the cost of treatment? Can I use my insurance?
    A. Harmony Foundation charges $625.00 per day for detoxification and $525.00 per day for residential, plus the cost of any prescriptions; the average cost of treatment, based on a 30 day stay, is $16,300.00.  We have many insurance contracts and will be happy to check your insurance coverage; copayment/deductible amount will be due at the time of admission.   3. Q. If my family member is willing to get help, can I just drive them up?
    A. All admissions must be screened, approved and scheduled before driving up; all it takes is a phone call!

  5. Q. Will I be in a lock-down ward?
    A. No; Harmony is a voluntary program!
  6. Q. Can I have visitors and make phone calls?
    A.  Visitors are welcome on the weekends; Saturdays from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm for ages 12 and above, and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm for all ages.  Clients may have visitors starting the weekend after their 4th day of treatment; they may make and receive phone calls starting on their 4th day of treatment.  
  7. Q.  Will I have a roommate?
    A. Harmony Foundation is a peer driven program; we believe in community.  Clients will have a roommate during detox, and when they move into the residential level of care they will share a cabin with one roommate.

  8. Q. Can you accommodate a vegetarian diet?
    A.  Absolutely! In addition to delicious, hot vegetarian entrees, we have the best salad bar in Estes Park, which is part of every lunch and dinner.

  9. Q.  Are there any scholarships or grants available to pay for the cost of my treatment?
    A. Harmony receives only a limited number of scholarships annually; please call our Admission office at (970) 586-4491 to check availability.
